  3. wfox Says:

    Actually, you can’t …
Actually, you can’t do this with the same simplicity RIGHT NOW. Luckly, JavaFX and Qt (it will get a declarative feature, AFAIK) will improve and we will get the same features that WPF has.

By the way, when I say “That’s why nobody use Linux or any other OS”, I was referring to the actitude of philgunman because in the Linux community if you don’t insult MS they throw on you.

  4. OldTimeyJunk Says:

    I do, Windows …
I do, Windows always DIES on me anyway BUT YOU CAN DO MUCH MORE ON LINUX than you think!! You can create somet like this in Linux!!

No doubt MS is leading in visually appealin technologz.Dats maybe the reason sum ppl(esp who dislike HCI) dont like 2accept the fact dat der isnt much diffrence b/w Java&Dotnet FW coz MS has leveld it by replicating java’s. Secondly, cross platform(OS) thing does exists, but java is leadin in dis domain while MS r yet 2release framework3.x for mono n others
The multilingual CLR-based feature one of der own where suns ve no mood2invest
Finally,Java is open n u can find “variety” of IDEs 4 free

Agreed. C# isnt a “microsoft program” and isn’t on the same platform as IE.

  15. madoksback Says:

    Do you actually …
Do you actually know what you are actually talking about?
C# is abasalutly f**king brilliant language like the fact you can Develope Desktop, Web, Smart Devices, and browser based applications without having to change a thing! And what “useless extensions are you talking about exactly?”
The syntax of Java and C# are very similar but you could say this about Java and C++

  16. armd86 Says:

    omg. why does …
omg. why does microsoft reinvent every technology that has been on the market for years? i mean i wouldn’t complain if they were better than the other technologies … but they’re all crap. IE = crap, C# = basically the same as java with a few useless! extensions that runs on win only, Windows = MacOS ripoff with a almost 10 year old codebase now, IIS Server = Apache that crashes 100% more, and horrible to configure, ASP = JSP but you have to use this ty IIS, MS Silverlight = Flash etc….

  17. cleberz Says:
