If I install Microsoft SILVERLIGHT can I uninstall adobe flash player?

I was thinking about insalling silverlight. Would it make a difference if I did remove Flash Player? Thanks

I don’t think it will make a difference. I would keep flash though.

    Well Flash Player is different from Silverlight, so uninstalling flash wouldn’t be a good idea. Personally, I don’t have Silverlight, because it’s basically useless to me. I don’t do anything with it. So uninstalling flash player would be a bad idea if you continue to use flash. And, they won’t conflict or anything so having them both installed is fine.

    flash player is pretty lightweight i would keep it unless they conflict

    You can if you want, the only places I can think that even use it is the microsoft website and netflicks.

    However it does not replace flash player, silverlight will not play videos that use flash. Such as Youtube, hulu, and a majority of other video sites.
