I just got windows vista. Do i need windows silverlight, or can i do without it?

Ok, Meaning, is silverlight only for businesses or is it also for the home user? What is done with this silverlight program?

Silverlight is similar to Flash but is made by Microsoft. There is no harm in installing it. NBC used Silverlight to broadcast the Beijing Olympics. Some websites just use Silverlight.Read more here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silverlight

    Silverlight is like adobe flash, only not very widespread yet. No, you don’t need silverlight, although if you ever do want it, you can just go to microsoft.com and download it there.
