Net takers are those states which receive more federal aid than they pay in federal taxes.
Net givers are those states which pay more money in federal taxes than they receive in federal aid.
Before you attack me for not providing sources, remember that this is a hypothetical question.
Thank you.
I would not be surprised looking at the states that voted red (AL, GA…) and those that voted blue (CA, NY etc)

It would be irrelevant to me.

I would say that the blue states (California, New York) are finding themselves in quite large budget deficits…maybe they need to rethink their "giving" status and focus more on tax cuts to grow their economy!

The hypothetical is not all that incorrect. However… There is a financial offset many people miss. A huge amount of business done in Red states are done by corporations that are incorporated in Blue states. New York, Chicago and LA are the HQ of Countless huge national corporations, and taxes are paid in those states for goods and services sold all over the nation… It confuses things quite a bit. Makes researching the topic very complicated.

Hypothetical questions are illogical. Just like the liberals because Blue states are going broke because of UNIONS. Unions are used as a communist tool to bring in control and takeover to follow the communist model. We need to ban unions in America or become commies
