I am a recent college graduate who received a degree in computer programming. I am looking for a job now, but I have no job-related experience whatsoever and most of job ads I have seen online ask for about 3 to 5 year experience. Does anyone have suggestions as to how to remedy this situation?

You have to start internship at any organization because i am also graduate but initially we have to do internship or join any organization which is offering a low pay rate per hour or per day or week. You should apply at monster.com or other sites which provide help in job hunt. Also if you want to find a job immediately then near me,you have to do any certification in any technology, like CCNA or MCSE.
Because if you are having any skill then you can never be hand to mouth.I also go for more certifications,as it improves my career level.Initially if we are not getting any penny from the organization, then don’t you worry about that,Because at the other hand you are getting trained and going to be a professional. So,carry on your job search with you current job,to make your progress:) if you want to do some certification then this link is useful for you,as i trust at these sites.
