It is my summer vacation and I am wondering if anyone knows of a good book to read for the summer. I looking for a computer programming book that will help me in school, because I am taking programming classes. Took one semester of C++ and taking one more next semester. Is there any book that a more experienced programmer would suggest.
May I suggest something to enhance your programming abilities and add to the expansion of how you think about programming? Check out the "Writing Secure Code" line of books to enhance your programming skills. This would be a good addition to any language and is something we look for in a programmer during the hiring process. Remember that writing code is not all there is to programming.

If I were you, in the field of programming, you will need to know more than one language, so I suggest you reading a book that is about a different language. Java is a good language to learn.
