Do both courses share the same computer programming scopes?

I meant to say how both courses differ from each other in terms of the computer programming subjects they offer.

It really depends on the university you go to and what their SAT scores are. Like I know of a local univeristy that accepts most people and doesn’t need SAT scores that offer both Comp Science and Info Technology degrees. The difference in the programming classes isn’t much harder, just very different what you learn and the Comp Science take a lot of Calculus. Graduates from both programs at that university have worked as programmers in the area I am at. I know a computer science grad from there that told me his SAT was around an 1100 and was the same as a Information Technology grad I know.

Now lets say you look at Computer Science grads from the University of Chicago, Notre Dame, Northwestern, University of Michigan, Brown University, Washington University, etc I think you will find the programming they do there is much more difficult and different than is what is done in IT/ IS major and the grads from those programs are more capable programmers.

I was looking at rune hq the other day, and the def bonus is higher than the rune scimitar. Does this mean I will level up defence faster using silverlight?

Defense bonus on the Silverlight is to reflect or avoid being hit. This does NOT contribute to your maximum hitting or hit percentile.

The Rune Scimitar has a +45 attack bonus, which means higher maxing and more chance to hit. Silverlight has +14 attack bonus, which is substantially lower then the Rune Scimitar.

SO: Rune Scimitar is better.

I try to play a movie on netflix and it always crashes and says my microsoft silverlight plug-in has crashed. I tried re-installing it, nothing worked. I tried all the different browsers and nothing is working. Help?

I would try restarting your computer and see if it works. If it doesn’t then you might to get a new computer! :O

I had streaming netflix on my laptop and every single time at 97% it will say "Silverlight crashed". Just to make sure I uninstalled my windows live and then reinstalled it, Tried again, same thing. I even tried different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari) and it still doesn’t work. PLEASE HELP!!!

Windows Live? Why would you uninstall that? Uninstall Silverlight and reinstall it. The problem should go away.

You have that backwards I think. SIlverlight can be installed as part of Windows Live but Silverlight is a completely different software and can be installed/uninstalled independently of Live.

I want to learn computer/game programming, but don’t want to go through a 4 year college program, but rather just a trade school to teach me the practical application pieces I need. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yes, you can.

Actually if you just want to become a programmer or IT, trade school might be your best choice. However, if you want the highest paying jobs you will need to get a 4-year degree like computer science or software engineering. Basically trade schools are great to train technicians or people who take care of the hands-on work to assist engineers or computer scientists.

There is a big problems about silverlight on my computer. I can not uninstall it completely. I have tried many times to remove it on Safe Mode of Windows system. I have no idea to uninstall it now. Are there any silverlight removal tool?

My solution that worked for me is to use a silverlight removal tool that you can free download from the link below.

After you open this program,Select Silverlight from the list and choose "Force Uninstall" to uninstall Silverlight, and then download Silverlight again and reinstall it.

So I’m planning on making a website and I wanted to know how hard is to work with Adobe Dreamweaver. I already work with Adobe Photoshop and I handle it pretty well. Is working with Dreamweaver harder than working with Photoshop?

You can’t compare them. They are designed for totally different tasks.

If you don’t understand at least the basics of HTML or CSS and just rely on the WYSIWYG interface then, although the tools in Dreamweaver are good, you’ll never be able to use the program to its full potential.
