i wanted to look at virtual travel on bing and it said i needed to install silverlight3. what is it and is it okay to install? i’m a newbee on the computer.
Silverlight is a internet browser plugin (like Adobe Flash, Shockwave) from Microsoft.
It’s perfectly safe to install and it does not slow down your computer.

I graduated with a degree in finance in 2009, but have had no luck finding a job. I am considering going to a community college and obtaining an associates in computer programming. Would this worth while? What are the starting salaries of entry level programmers?
The program that I am considering is leads to a java certification. Also I have no experience programming.
You might look at going the computer certification route, instead of a community college.
Industries are often looking for specific skill sets, like ASP.NET, JAVA, Oracle DBA, etc as opposed to someone who has general programming skills.
Find out what Information Technology is used in finance (you don’t want that degree to go to waste), the check out your local community college to see if they have a path that will help you get IT certs in technology related to your industry. If not, look at other ways to obtain the IT certs.
Believe me, the certs help.
I am a recent college graduate who received a degree in computer programming. I am looking for a job now, but I have no job-related experience whatsoever and most of job ads I have seen online ask for about 3 to 5 year experience. Does anyone have suggestions as to how to remedy this situation?

Microsoft Silver light is Microsoft’s answer to Adobe Flash. It essentially does the same thing and some websites require you to have Silverlight installed in order to watch embedded videos (NBC.com is one of them).
I don’t know about Bonjour or Active Disk though.

My Adobe Dreamweaver is having a serious program bug. It can’t be scanned, opened, or anything without my whole computer freezing. I can’t uninstall it using the default Windows Uninstaller, either, because it will freeze. Is there any way that I can completely remove Adobe Dreamweaver? I do not want to buy any program that will supposedly work, either. Free only, please.

When I try to watch a video I get skips and pauses. Is there a compatibility issue?
No it just takes a while to load and sometimes the video gets ahead of where the loading is at, and it pauses until it catches up.
